Special Socket
Stage/Card Adapters (SSA) for Probing Packaged Devices
These SSA adapters are available for industry standard 3.5"x
3.5" or Variable 3.5"x 3.5" to 5"x 5" circuit test card size
and contain a Zero Insertion Socket for the DUT in whatever
industry standard Package Socket is required, with circuit
traces running to an Edge Connector for circuit signal and
power activation during open device probing or merely circuit
I/O Pin Probing. These Socket Card Adapters are available
for thermal testing with a Thermal Transfer Interface Plate
mounted on and through the back of the card and in contact
with the bottom of the DUT, so it may be vacuum held down
on a Hot Chuck with Thermal Hot or Hot/Cold Controlled.
 NOTES:
- When ordering any SSA the Package Zero Insertion Socket
Type must be clearly defined. eg. CERDIP 14 Pin, SIP-36 Pin,
SOIC-40 Pin, etc.
- When ordering the 400-SSM Accessory Adapters, required with
every SSA Product. The Customer must provide the Micrometer
measurement of the existing Probe Station Chuck Mounting Post
and the name and model of the Probe Station Manufacturer even
if an older PSI Station, unless it is being ordered with a
NEW PSI-400 Probe Station.
