Malleable Probe Holders

Model P72 Series
The P72 family of probe holders are designed specifically for the user who wants to be able to bend the shaft of the probe holder to reach a test point on the semiconductor surface or in a packaged part not otherwise reached by conventional manipulator access.

The shaft of this probe model is composed of a special metal alloy that will offer rigidity as well as a flexibility that allows for repeated custom-shaping without damaging the holder itself. The P72 is extremely handy for those times when the target access seems impossible.

NOTE: These probes are DC level general purpose probes desirable for detecting or injecting low level DC. Not designed for high voltage or high frequency. 

These Malleable Probe Holders are available in lengths from ½ inch to 4 inches in ¼ inch increments as described below.

Suffix:

  • 02 describes a Pin Jack Probe Tip holder designed with a 'push-in' probe tip holder.

  • XX designates a set screw in the end of the probe holder to secure the probe tip.
